Awesome video - "Born Free"

No, not the schmaltzy Seventies film with the lions. This is the one by the rapper M.I.A. with the red haired people being rounded up and taken somewhere to be killed. The video that caused Matthew Wright on five TV's "The Wright Stuff" to start screaming and flailing and jumping up and down in the TV studio the other day.

Be aware that it is not safe for work. At all. And no, I'm not going to list the ways it is NSFW. You have been told it's too rough for overly-sensitive bosses, so if you continue to press play whilst at work you're the one asking for it.

All other considerations of taste aside, however, now, in the sure knowledge that it will flay an otherwise unprepared mind, play on.

M.I.A, Born Free from ROMAIN-GAVRAS on Vimeo.

Philip K Dick Journals Published Soon

Philip K Dick journals to be published next year

A copy of this and one of Jung's Red Book. In the other corner, Huxley's "The Doors of Perception / Heaven and Hell" and Pauwels & Bergier's "Morning of The Magicians."

Seriously, what else would I need in my library?* :)

* Apart from, that is, Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, The 33 Rules of War and The 50th Law, the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, the Daodejing, Trickster Makes The World, Contrarywise & Trickster's Touch, Liber Null & Psychonaut, the Psybernomicon and the Principia Discordia?
