I don't know if you read the thing on nematoddity's site (though you might have been the one to post the link to the complaints), but she posted a response from someone IN the Camarilla and they're fucking cheesed about this bullshit! They hate it that WW is stepping in and ruining not only their reputation but making the Camarilla look shite to people, too. I don't think that they even talked this over with the organization at all. They just assumed that they could shove everyone into buying membership into something that only a few people truly want and enjoy a membership in.

So, it's WW and WW alone on this one. They're pushing their limits because they think they're gods. They think that they're the immortal beings that grew out of love and gaming and instead they're nothing but ghouls who would rather suck the essence out of the gamers who gave them the lifeblood to do this in the first place.

Fuck 'em. The games themselves (at least the second ed stuff up till the money-making Time of Judgement/New Shite stuff) are gold. There's no reason you can't still love all the stuff you originally loved about them. Vampire, Werewolf, Changeling, Mage, Wraith...Hunter even. They're all still yours and you can do what you want with them and not have to give a rat's ass about WW and their Legion of Gaming Nazis.
