You can claim that 100% of the monies changing hands was for incidental expenses unrelated to White Wolf, or even gaming. For all the landlord (and White Wolf) knows, you could be playing Halo on the XBox or even holding a bloody prayer meeting or knitting circle: he has no control over what's been done on the premises.
And that was one of the main reasons why this policy was withdrawn.
