No Sleep Tonight

My bothersome lower back tooth, the one with the filling that keeps falling out on me, has shattered, exposing the raw nerve to the environment of the interior of my mouth.

Right now, it feels as though all seventy species of the bacteria which dwell in my mouth have revoked their benignity, and have begun chowing down upon that raw nerve, sending little jagged shocks of pure undiluted pain up and down my lower mandible like someone jabbing the tip of a heated needle into the empty socket.

And it's Saturday, so I have to endure this all weekend long ... and Monday, too. My dental appointment is on Tuesday.

At noon.

Words fail me.

Night night.

Anyhow, eyes down for that show in 35 minutes or so. Time to head indoors.

But first, the weather

It's been foggy all day. Literally, for at least 24 solid hours. A thick, dense, opaque, freezing fog has blanketed the entire region for more than a full day. It came in before sunset last night, and it never left.

In fact, it's become thicker.

Outside, right now, the fog is so thick that you can't see the end of the street from here. In fact, it is so thick that you can't see to the end of the sentence ...
