What Does This Say About Us?

Olympic Flame Goes Out - First Time In History

The flame did not go out for the 1936 Berlin Olympics, presided over by Adolf Hitler. But they went out here in the UK, presided over by David Cameron.

I could leave it to you to come up with your own conclusions as to what it means, but history will call these Olympics cursed.

"It is not uncommon for a flame to go out and this can happen for a number of reasons, for example, in extreme winds," the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) said in a statement.

So which is it? Is it common or is it the first time in history? And technically the flame didn't go out, just the torch. They carry backup flame in a car behind the torch for just such an emergency.

Furthermore: who gives a shit? It's not magic, it's fire.

My own conclusions to what it means: David Cameron is worse than Hitler. :)
