That Value Added Tax Increase ...
On January 4, 2011, Value Added Tax goes up on goods from 17.5% to 20%. I just want to show what that means in real terms.
What The VAT Increase Means
Basically, if you know that something that cost you £3 today has gone up to £4 or £5 on Tuesday, feel free to call Trading Standards on them. They'll be ripping you off.
