Basically, the legend says that if someone lights a candle in front of a mirror and calls Bloody Mary's name three times, she will come out of the mirror and be somewhat dischuffed for the summoning.
The movies Candyman and Beetlejuice capitalise on this piece of folklore somewhat.
Rumours that I pop out of a mirror when I'm summoned are somewhat untrue. It'd be a very handy method of getting around if it was, and it'd save a fortune in bus tickets.
