Early to Rise ...

I had to be up early this morning to sort out a friend in need. I was to meet her at 09:30 at the Deli Express. She needed a letter written, so that is what I did for her.

Apparently there's a parade on later on this afternoon. The Royal Welch Fusiliers are parading through the centre of town. I hope the weather improves for them.

The town library is moving, it would seem, on September 14th - just a few streets away, to Chester Street. There it will remain for about six months while refurbishments take place in the old building.

And just now, I managed to add more stuff to my Traveller writeup in the library.

So it looks as though things are all go here in my life, and in town in general.

So how's things for everyone else here on my f'list?

No seriously. It really could. I realize that I've got to suck up three more months essentially before I can get the fuck out of Dodge, but it would be nice if some of the day-to-day bullshit would start getting a little easier. It doesn't have to be easy. Not asking for that. But it could be easier. Just a little. Just to help me out so that I'm not a fucking emotional basketcase every fucking day at some point.

Other than that, it's not horrible. Took that stupid GRE yesterday morning before the sun was completely up. Hopefully will get applied to grad school soon. Hopefully will get into the grad school I want so that I can start in the spring and won't have to work some job not worth the time I spent working my ass off for my BA. But we'll see...

Yeah, things could be better here too.

Right now I have to last minute arrange accomodation for my wife for her course because a so called friend offered it but now has failed to follow it up.

Also another friend is being flaky a it's hurting my wife (unemployed and lonely sucks so when a person is being shit then they are not a friend).

Other than that feeling skint, Cov Forbidden Planet is shit, and writing stuff for roleplay (which is good) and getting my motivation up at work again.

Sigh.
