EPG Poetry

The electronic programme guide on my digital TV is often hilarious. Since the EPG has to pack as many slots onto the screen as possible, it has to chop off long TV show titles after two or three words, leading to a slew of broken titles close to, even adjacent to, one another.

And sometimes these can be poetic, in a surreal, free verse sort of way.

So I present to you EPG Poetry for 04 01 2010:-

The words were there. It just required a little intervention to turn them into the poem they so wanted to be.

I've seen that happen before. I've written poetry like that before. I just don't like everything I've done with it.

Well, you know exactly how it is. You've been there plenty of times. Sometimes, the words come out as poetry just as you want. The rest of the time, they just stay as words.

In such a case, no matter what you try, if the words don't want to turn into poetry, or in my case an article or story, there's nothing I or anyone can do about it.

Yup.

Oh in case you're interested, there's a new dream up at [livejournal.com profile] dreamarchetypes. It's very weird. :)
