MiB Suit

Shiny black shoes, black socks, black trousers and suit jacket. Crisp white shirt. Black tie. Everybody asks you if you've come from a funeral.

Yes, it's official. People have to die before a Brit will dress up snappily.

I think I'll try the "discontent" mood icon. I haven't used it before.

Actually it was the opposite for me once. I had to go to a funeral and then needed to get to college afterwards. It was too much trouble to change so I went as is. Everyone including the lecturers commented on how snappily dressed I was and I had to point out it was because I'd been to a funeral.

I too don't know what it is with the UK. Guys dressed well are looked at weirdly while women are expected to look like models/sluts/good wives. It seems like most guys only think they can wear jeans and t-shirts or shorts and polo neck shirts. There is nothing wrong with a good pair of trousers.
