It seems yesterday that Anne Rice has given up Christianity.

You're shitting me.

At her worst, she was on twenty prayers a day, and she was at risk of serious brain cancer.

She will be using a regime of holy water patches while trying to stay quit.

No, she says she's giving up Christianity. She still believes in Jesus and the bible and all that, what she is giving up is church.

Yeah, well, she only gets the tax exempt status if she's running the church anyway. Which, in my opinion, is a ridiculous and outdated hole in our tax code here in the states and should be closed immediately if not sooner.
