I'm posting this from the folks' shed. It's damned cold, so I'm going back inside to stay the night in the warm, with my books.
Yesterday, I went into town to post off some airmail documents to the United States. The price turned out to be not so bad, once I'd taken them out of their original letters and folded them up in smaller envelopes. Which was kewl, and necessary since the Post Office now charge for letters' size as much as inertial mass.
I also decided, early yesterday morning, to go back to that food plan I'd been working on, but never seemed to get around to actually trying. I bought fennel seeds. Dad swears by them. If he could eat fennel, he would.
I could only find fennel in one place - one store sells them in the whole of Wrexham, and that's Organic Oasis, 26 Charles Street Wrexham. Natural Nation and Herbarium died a death, and Organic Oasis took the Herbarium's stock when the latter sold it off to them.
Organic Oasis sells fennel. Must remember to establish long term friendship with them. Lots of word of mouth advertising, keep customers flocking there.
When I'm eating fennel, I'm not eating anything else, and I can go a long time between meals. Which is good, because along with Coenzyme Q10, vitamin supplements and lecithin, it all counts.
Speaking of which ... got to get my supplements tomorrow. And beans. Eggs, oily fish, tomatoes and celery, too, but definitely beans.
Not eating all the time, and not wanting to eat most of the time. Plus ensuring a supply of my body's needs through the supplements.
I can manage this. At least I can try.
