One Hundred Percent Successful!

As of the time of the phone call, Elizabeth was sleeping, and lady_gaslight was getting ready for a few minutes' shuteye. The doctors are optimistic about the girl, and say that lady_gaslight will be able to take Liz home by Monday / Tuesday, at this rate.

But already, there's good news. Elizabeth's pain is gone.

sandchigger, jagash, zenten, azraelthe7th, kris_ether, dgg, everyone - spread the word. Liz is going to be all right, and hopefully lady_gaslight will be back LJ'ing pretty soon.

But for right now, she's got some serious mothering to do, and I for one wish her, Elizabeth and the rest of her family all the very best.

Fit of the Giggles

The sf_drama community is running a CAPSLOCK FRIDAY. Fair enough. It's a lot easier to implement than Naked At The Keyboard Friday, especially if you're at work or, in my case, in the library surrounded by kids.

Only, today, apparently as a result of too much time spent awake and insufficient caffeine, today was somewhere announced as Cockslap Friday.

The Nai Thing

Last night, I reported on how I was unable to contact Nai for some reason.

I ought to have posted this earlier, I suppose, but what the hell. Nai's phone had died on her, but she did have a spare handset back home - so we got back in touch after midnight.

Anyway, today Nai has been attending a show at the Kensington Olympia, where she's been demonstrating some pre-sale products yet to appear on the market. Anyhow, she sold a lot of product this afternoon, for which I am very proud of my woman.

I'm hoping Nai will send me a URL for the event, so I can put it up here, but otherwise there you have it. We're still together, and I love her so so much.
