Today's Update

Just the usual personal news, now. It's been a rather interesting couple of days.

My sister's gone in for a spot of surgery today. I hope she gets well soon, but right now my nephew's stuck with Mum and Dad for the rest of the week.

Apart from the photos of the blaze in the heart of Wrexham, I've been using my camera and digital recorder to just capture images and sounds from here and there. Lucy's more than paid for herself, I keep saying: well, so's my voice recorder.

Who knows where this might take me, if I can record the sounds of an event as it happens, get commentaries from involved people at the time etc., and forward the relevant files off to, say, BBC local Radio or something. Some sort of amateur journalist, maybe. Something like.

That'd be mint.

Apologies

Everyone I've been chatting with tonight: you may wonder where the hell I went all of a sudden.

Simply, there was a power cut. Looks like, for a few seconds, the entire neighbourhood went dark. Certainly my apartment went dark: I couldn't see a blessed thing. Caught me in mid-type and all. Very embarrassing.

And now I've come back to find everyone I was chatting with has signed off. Tiresome.

So, to all my chat list, I apologize. Sorry, folks. Some other night, okay?
