I signed up to this site very recently, and it's proven really interesting for one very good reason.

I'm learning Brazilian Portuguese from the ceaseless chatter of the other subscribers on the form.

It's an endless stream of it. Freewheeling, innocent, freeform colloquial Portuguese. "VC" for "voce" (you), "porq" for "porque" (because), and so on.

As one little guy commented, A vida não é brilhante? ("Isn't life brilliant?")
