Voter Power Index For Where I Live

My vote counts for about 0.126 of a full vote. My constituency size is 29.83% below average, and is considered disgustingly safe. Worse, 53.95% of those who vote in Wrexham in 2005 do not vote for the winning candidate. These votes count for nothing in the First Past the Post system.

They promise real democracy, but we're stuck with the same old dictators.

Whose birthdays have I been missing? I get a slew of alerts, all at once, and some of them are already more than a day old.

To the latter, you've had a rough time of it of late. More than one of my f'list has had a pretty damned rough time of it over the past year - there's another close friend who recently suffered a major loss - and all I can say is that I'm here for you, as a friend.

LJ Problems

LJ's definitely acting up today. I can't seem to get to the comments pages of any of my f'list. It took an age for the posting form to load.

And it's the weekend, too, which probably means whatever delays exist now will likely persist over the next couple of days as well.

Now I've done the birthday greetings, so if anything else does crop up and there's no sign of LJ coming up for air over the weekend, check out my FB account.
