I like reading well-written web comics. Long-winded series that seem to go on forever, I dunno. Maybe not so much, Girl Genius, OOTS.

XKCD's kind of been going to seed a little. Some of the stories haven't entirely been a laugh a minute, you know?

So far, however, the only webcomic to come out with any kind of fresh content has been the very adult, extremely funny, series Oglaf.

Oglaf actually comes out once a week or so, often on Sundays - though its author might sometimes update the strip late some weeks, or skip a week. Can't be helped.

Now there's a website, DOMAI, maintained by a very nice man called Eolake Stobblehouse. The theme of DOMAI is the unashamed appreciation of the naked female body, presented as is, free of guilt.

Now, Eolake has been trying to create a decent web comic for some time. His latest candidate is called Casual Fridays (8Mb PDF).

Here's the same comic presented on DOMAI in web format.

Thing is, I may have liked the comic, but I knew for a fact that I could write a better story. So I did just that. I now have a 16Mb PDF, "Acausal Fridays," and I have to locate a fileshare service that allows material with adult content.

Otherwise, if anybody wants my repurposed version of his comic, with a much deeper story that I think will appeal despite the constant nudity, email me and I will send you a copy.

Now back to my Traveller fan expansion book.

Edit: I just received an email back from Eolake Stobblehouse, commenting on the repurposed PDF I sent him. Just one word.

"Amazing."
