I should start with yesterday, where I attended the final Zone Business Breakfast for the season - they resume in October.

I bumped into my friend Leigh Ann Hills, the Alumni Development Officer for Glyndwr Uni. I had some good news to share with her, and figured that I could spend some more time with her soon, catch up on our friendship.

I met someone new and interesting; a new client. Trancing her was an incredible experience. It was like trancing one of my earlier clients. Uncanny. I took her to a wonderful place. Then I came home, and created a new blog, Hypnotic Erotic, which I will use to list my experiments in hypnosis.

That was more of less the gist of what I did yesterday. So what went on today?

First ... I've had to relaunch my Hypnotic Erotic blog. The site went down for hours yesterday, and took away all of my blog posts there - along with releasing the name of the blog, forcing me to reclaim it and initialise the blog from scratch, all entries permanently lost.

Next, I visited the folks' to sort out some matters up there. I had some new photos of me taken. I just uploaded them from my camera to the system a few minutes ago. I'll post them up to Facebook soonish.

I went to college to catch up. I expected to get replies from somebody online to the emails I'd sent out last night. Anybody would have done. Leigh Ann, Vicky, my clients. Anyone. I got zip. Well, almost. One client gave me feedback. I'm still correcting that.

And I have to do it with a busted laptop. Speakers are frelled, and the audio plug's been poked inside the casing so the phono jacks won't go in. My laptop is a deaf mute. If the local vendors are going to be true to form they'll try and sell me a new one in exchange for the old, and I will put a blowtorch to their fingers if they do.

And I got back here in time to enjoy an evening of very enjoyable online chatting, as well as continue to write my short Future Lovecraft story.

I want my story to feel weird, but not the standard "Ia! Ia! Cthulhu gwetb'gwetb eqhgeeqt eghtwgaaaagh aaaagh ngaghebk' weeeee!" bollocks. "Write about what you know," the old adage says. So, then, expect weird. Gratuitous lashings of Grade A mindfuck weird.

Anyway, that's all to report so far. Tomorrow, off to Chester to attend the Chester SF & F Readers meeting. The topic for the month: the writings of Ray Bradbury.

And tomorrow evening, I post my photos to Facebook or somewhere.
