More than fifteen years since the episode "Z'Ha'Dum" first aired, and these words have come true in so many ways.
"The war we fight is not against powers and principalities. It is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope. The death of dreams. Against this peril, we can never surrender."
We now have governments in power worse than any we have suffered in the last century. We have a people who have not known much suffering, lounging in indolence, too scared to act against those who are slowly taking away the support mechanisms of compassion that make society civilised.
Their idea of civilisation is not what we would actually call "civilised."
