"Well, to be fair I had a couple of gadgets he probably didn't, such as a teaspoon and an open mind." -- The Fourth Doctor

Is it so wrong to maintain the assertion that one can live an impressive, happy life, as carefree as possible, accompanied by an open mind, vast intelligence, even more vast and sophisticated sense of humour to laugh at oneself as much as to laugh at the universe, and no desire to harm or demean anybody?

Is it so wrong to maintain that we are made of the stuff of stars; that we are the Universe - sometimes the Abyss - made manifest, trying to figure itself out?

/Is it so wrong/ to cherish the idea of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations, true a fictional doctrine from a Sixties TV show but as valid as any ten fictional doctrines supposedly written on stone tablets back in the late Bronze Age?

You tell me where it is more important to hate someone else for being different, for liking things not on your approved list, to be addicted to oil and money and status and to consider it more important what other people think?

I didn't think so.
