Something from my current Traveller psion WIP.

Lexicon
Adept – a psion who specialises in the Awareness Talent; also, a member of a mystical order of practicing psions
Asemic Text – a text that looks like a scrawl of untranslatable gibberish, whose meaning is only legible to a psion with an active Psionic Strength characteristic
Awakening – the process of unlocking a new Ability of a Talent
Bug House – the local Psionics Institute
Code – a code of discreet armbands, neckties, badges, handkerchiefs or other clothing decorations, which signal the presence of a psion to other covert psions in public, as well as an indication of one's preferred Talents
Emergence - the process of turning into a psion; also known as Chrysalis or Transition
Firestarter – a telekinetic who knows Pyrokinesis
Freak – a pariah even in the psion community
Ganzfeld Cap – mechanical psionic shield helmets
Geller Quartz – an activated crystal useful in amplifying psionic energy
Head Man/Woman – a telepath
Jaunte – (n and v) a teleport; the act of teleporting
Jaunter – a psion specialising in teleportation
Looker – a clairvoyant
Labyrinth – the carefully-laid web of deceit, illusion and hallucination placed before a candidate psion, to test the candidate's determination to become a psion
Mentalist – a psion who boosts his Intelligence and Education by psionic means; also refers to telepaths and specialists in Hypnosis and Lucid Dreaming skills
Monitor – guardians and protectors of Psionics Institutes
Mover and Shaker – a specialist in telekinesis
Mundane – a non-psion
Neurofibre – a synthetic fibre used in psionic equipment
Scrub – (n) the process of memory erasure; (v) to erase a memory
Seer – a psion who specialises in Clairvoyance
Stripped – referring to a psion under the influence of anti-psi drugs
Strippers – anti-psi drugs
Talented – another term for a practicing psion
Untalented – slightly disparaging term for non-psions
