Ooh, Christmas Toys ...

fiat_knoxJust spotted a present I must buy for myself, and one I can get for Sam for Christmas. The present for me is straight out of Star Trek.
Yes, it's the roll-up keyboard from that episode of Star Trek where Picard kissed the woman in the Jeffreys tube ...
If I do get it, it'll be incumbent on me to actually learn to play it. This'll mean practice. Well, hopefully I'll have some time for that ...
And as for Sam's present? :) Well, like V, it would appear that percussion instruments are his forte. So to speak. He hasn't blown up the Old Bailey or Parliament yet, but I have grand hopes for him. :D In the same vein as the roll-up piano, there's a roll-up drumkit for him to play with. Just lay it out flat on a surface, hook it up to a computer through the USB and away you go.
Anyhow ... I have the cash for them both. And if either or both are available in Maplin on Monday ... well ... we shall see, shan't we? :D
