It's been foggy all day. Literally, for at least 24 solid hours. A thick, dense, opaque, freezing fog has blanketed the entire region for more than a full day. It came in before sunset last night, and it never left.
In fact, it's become thicker.
Outside, right now, the fog is so thick that you can't see the end of the street from here. In fact, it is so thick that you can't see to the end of the sentence ...
