I hear rain outside

fiat_knoxI've been up since silly o'clock. I'm just sitting here, in a cold room, listening to the sound of rain outside. It's louder than the tapping of the keyboard.
It'll melt the remains of the only snowman I've seen out in the wild - a modest little thing outside one of the houses near the flat. Well, it's already on its way out: I saw that it had been decapitated last night, as I came back to the flat from town.
Oh. Before I move on ... Sam was talking to my Mum the other day. He said he'd seen something in town. He described it as "long, thin things hanging down off the trees, like glass."
This winter must have been the first time he has ever, in his life, seen icicles. :)
