Just tuned in to an episode of ITV's detective drama Lewis, the spinoff from Morse. Girl found dead, all tied up, and they catch sight of her bondage photos from her hacked mobile phone.
And once more we join the cops as they descend into their own very small, very narrow little Uncanny Valleys.
Pitiful cop shows.

They're all portrayed as people on the verge of losing their minds, and even when you see the ones who aren't the "killers," they're still treated as goofy simpletons who must be humored but ridiculed behind their backs. It's the same with people who are furries. You never see BDSMers being humored but ridiculed. You see them respected by the end of the show.
I call bullshit on that.
