You know, I haven't posted much about my friendship with wolf_heart9 on this forum. We talk regularly, she mentions me regularly, and she's introduced me many friends.

We met back in, I believe, 1999. I was in Liverpool, doing postgrad training. I posted something on Isaac Bonewits' website regarding Trickster, a deity his website had neglectfully ignored. She responded, and a friendship began.

When did we first start IM in place of emails, T? I can barely remember a time when we communicated through emails alone. It's been a hell of a time.

...it wasn't all that long after we'd started e-mailing, me'thinks. I started using ICQ in/around Julyish of 1999 and I know that we started out convos out on ICQ because that's all I had. Then I got the skinny to switch over to Yahoo (or to at least download it) and it really worked better than ICQ anyway. Lots of features in it were better. So somewhere in 1999 is when we started chatting it up through IM. I'd have to retake my trip down Amnesia Lane (that I recently went on despite giving myself warnings not to) to find out just when it started. But it was around that time...
