Fourth Rewrite Update

fiat_knoxWell, I finally got around to rewriting the third chapter of my story, which I call "The Fourth Rewrite". After some thought, I decided on a more dramatic storyline, which will lead to a spectacular denouement, either in Chapter Four or Five - I'm not sure which, just yet.
I wanted sadness, and happiness, and strangeness, and people waking up and going "What?" instead of "Where am I?". I got some lovely new settings I've never used in the story before, a friend coming along for the ride (something I've never done before in any of my Rewrites, not even in the original), and one poor slob gets unjustly kicked in the balls.
Twice. Once when he's down.
And now I've got enough material to launch straight into Chapter Four, Five and Six, and I haven't even started on the rest of the story so far.
But just wait and see. :)
