1. Ever punch someone in the face? No, but I have been punched. Which is why I have never punched another in the face.
2. How old are you? 43.
3. Are you single or taken? Single, with little chance of that changing.
4. Eat with your hands or utensils? Either. Both. Sometimes, straight out of the pack.
5. Do you dream at night?. I dream all the time.
6. Ever seen a corpse? Yep.
7. Have you ever wished someone dead? Yep. But since they're probably already dead by now, no sense holding onto that thought.
8. Do You Like Bush, the president? Ye gods, no. And I'm glad I'm a Brit, so I don't have to, either, that pissant little fuckwit.
HERE COMES THE FUN ... ... ...
9. Whats your philosophy on life? and death? It's a long story, but to sum up: first, we're just mutated plains apes, thinking we're somehow more than what we are. But underneath that, we're moving meat - bags of mostly protein and water, molecules and atoms and particles. But it is also well known and well documented that all matter is, at its core, energy, something that comes perhaps out of the fabric of the universe itself: so we are, in the end, all a part of this one universe. Deep down, the ultimate reality is that we are all One. So maybe we are more than just a tribe of ugly, brutish bipedal apes, after all. We just need to remember this once in a while. Philosophy is the art of remembering, even when we're dying as individuals - okay, so everything has its time, and everything dies, but it's not as if we're going anywhere. Just back into the universe, in another form. So it's not so bad, when you look at it like that. And it makes life more worth living, too, because if you know you're a part of this universe, then your life's purpose becomes clear. You'be been given a loan of a lifespan by the universe. When you pass, your job's to return that life to its original owner, in better condition than you got it.
10. If you could do anything with me, and have no one know about it, what would it be? Save the world from its shortsightedness. If we've got to keep dreadful secrets, might as well be big, fun ones.
11. Do you trust the police? I trust individuals, warily, knowing that their loyalties are ultimately to other cops. En masse, no. I see more than two cops at one time in my line of sight, and I get the fuck away from there. But I don't run. Cops are like wolves, or Reavers. They see someone running, and they give chase. It's in their nature.
12. Do you like country music? I don't care about music at all these days.
13. What is your fondest memory of me? A recent discussion on philosophy we had here.
14. If you could change anything about yourself would you? I think I would. Maybe shave off some of my poundage, but not too much.
15. Would you date me? I'd take you out someplace fun, make sure you had a laugh. I don't think you'd consider me your type, though - but as a friend thing only, we'd be okay.
16. What do you wear to sleep? Whatever I've got on when I crash. Otherwise, for formal bedwear, nothing.
17. Have you ever peed in a pool? While you were still in it? Were you old enough to know better? Yes, yes and I left a trail, yes and I didn't care. I didn't like the person swimming behind me anyway.
18. Would you hide evidence for me if I asked you to? Oh, yes.
19. If I only had one day to live, what would we do together? Explore.
20. What is your favorite thing about me? The fact that we're still on each others' f'lists.
21. Do you think I'm attractive? I find your philosophy and intelligence very appealing.
22. What's your favorite color? Predictably, black. Though sometimes, silver, dark blue and maroon. Green, on occasion, and yellow. Red, once in a while ... :)
23. If you could bring back anyone that has passed, who would it be? I wouldn't want themt o be in any pain, but ... Flavia Prunes de Araujo. I loved her, but we had so little time ...
24. Tell me one interesting/odd fact about you? I'm left handed. That's the least of the odd facts I have accumulated over the years, or have been born with. Ask me about my freak mutation some day.
25. Will you post this so I can fill it out for you? Done.
