Sunny Day, Sweeping the Clouds Away

So anyway, here I am, in the library, working on this when I should be back at the flat, getting on with my art project.

Finally got something up and running - a picture for my project. And it's a good one, no less. A picture depicting something I saw t'other day, in town. A big, buff guy, shaven head, talking to a young woman wearing a black tank top, her black hair all spiked. She was smoking.

I didn't hear their conversation, but I wanted to draw their image. So I've made a start on it. If I can get this one done decently, I can maybe attack the other images from the art class project I've been trying to get off the ground. I want this thing finished by tomorrow, so I can start on the next one - which must be ready by Wednesday for next week's lecture.

Not "will" be. "Must" be. I'm sick and tired of artist's block. It's a thousand times worse than writer's block, because I know I'm as good with the drawn image as I am with the written word.

So, time I got down to it. Shopping for stuff next, then back to the flat. Visit my folks tomorrow.
