Time for a little joy ...
Jan. 20th, 2008 09:42 amI caught all the advertisements on TV last night, and could barely sleep for wanting to be awake early for this.
The Mail on Sunday, a rag I never read, nevertheless carried a special freebie with it today.
A CD of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene.
So I went out, and I bought it, and now I have the first Jarre album I ever bought, on CD for the first time. :D *doubleplus chuffed*
I got the latest album, Teo & Tea, for Christmas. Listen to Track 3, "Beautiful Agony", and you'll be thinking some very shocked thoughts - that's his wife, Anne Parillaud (who played the eponymous assassin in Luc Besson's original film Nikita), on "vocals"!
I'm still short a few albums (Alba?) on CD, namely:-
- Metamorphoses
- Jarre Hong Kong Live
- Jarre Live
- Les Concerts en Chine (The Concerts in China - Jarre was the first Westerner to be allowed to stage a concert in the People's Republic of China).
... but right now, I'm no longer missing Oxygene, and I am seriously stoked.
Some good news, for a change. :)
Oh, also look here.
( If you don't want to linky, behind the cut )
