I was so looking forward to his portrayal of The Joker in the forthcoming Batman film, now in post. There was also a project he was set to do, which will now never be completed.

Loose threads. All those loose threads. Too many to have been a suicide. Way too many.

We'll have to wait for the post mortem, but it's a hammer blow.

Waiting for the Boiler Inspection

I've been up since about eight. So far, no sign of the chapwho's supposed to be coming to check on the boiler.

I'll give it until 13:00, then give up. I've got errands in town to run after that, and I'll put a post up here round that time to let you know what's going on.

The only reason why people still screw up over things like this is because they don't yet have to compete against humanoid robots for jobs like this.

But then again, if robot brains could be made small enough to fit inside a humanoid robot head, they can be made small enough to fit inside things like gas and electricity meters, to monitor the appliances directly and communicate billing and status information directly, making it unnecessary for guys to come along to inspect them at all unless there was an emergency - which would be signalled by the applicance itself.

Boiler Inspected

And now, the boiler. It's been inspected. Everything is tickety - boo. I had a dream involving naaila. Our tempestuous, passionate relationship is now back on track, and I am personally glad it is.

Now, off to town to do some photocopying, writing, getting my 2000AD, time on the computer and hopefully some other errands if I have the time, and the money.

Love you, Nai. But we would be kissing on the telly. If not with you, then with whom? ;D

naaila, this doesn't mean I'm getting ideas. I already had them a while back. I've got even more fun ideas now ... :D

I'd also better not show the bus driver the chain I use to keep my trousers up.



I also have this thing for wearing ties made of cord tied in a hangman's noose knot, like a native of al-Amarja. Better not be wearing one of them down to Bridgend though.

Maybe I'll create a new tie myself, made of a length of chain. Yes, that'll do nicely ... :D
