Virtual Enterprise Conference
Feb. 26th, 2010 04:21 pmThe first day of the Virtual Enterprise conference took place yesterday, in Glyndwr College. I missed the start - an unavoidable, niggling crisis delayed my arrival - but I was treated to a lecture by a Second Life entrepreneur. A very nice person she seemed, too.
Her name was Amy, and she runs a boutique selling poses, prims and other accessories. Fair enough. You've probably seen this all before.
I took a look at all the icons on display. They looked ... well, they kind of looked like Princess Leia from Return of The Jedi, when she was chained to Jabba the Hutt.
And then Amy said the golden word "Gorean."
And the poor, simple, naive folks around me wondered why I was laughing into my hand so hard.
My God, Wrexham has a lot of catching up to do ...
