All it takes is a little ingenuity, and a lot of audacity, and you can turn a simple game like SuperPoke Pets into an art form.

For instance, this week's special release of coin items includes the Lascaux Cave habitat. Also, a museum habitat and associated items. Including display stands.

Large, black, monolithic display stands.

I could not resist ...

I've been asked on the Mongoose Traveller board why I left out a particular supplement - one heavy on mercenary action, tooling up and marching off to some near-future war.

I'm curious to see whether the Referees on here have played in settings other than the standard Traveller high SF setting. Twilight: 2000 and 2300 don't count.

By ruling out Twilight:2000 you also rule out the Merc:2000 supplement. And between them these two cover most WWII-now settings since that is what the two cover.

Here's my answer:-

"There was a deliberate decision behind this.

I don't want wargame discussions. I want to see if you enjoyed roleplaying in this kind of a setting.

Any mook can push pieces across a board. If all I wanted was just to move little figures around, I'd have taken up chess."
