The Vertrbrae
This space-saving invention is designed to squish everything you need into even the tiniest of bathrooms.
At the base is a toilet and above that a full basin unit. The next two sections are for storage, above which is the cistern. The top two sections are shower units.
Up to four people at one time could use this item to get ready ...

The Fog Shower
We all know that saving water is one good way to be kind to the environment, but the luxury of a long, hot shower is difficult to give up.
And so we have the Fog Shower. This invention uses a fog of microscopic water droplets to take the place of the usual water jets. The water is vaporised under pressure and then directed at different angles depending on the person's movements within the shower.
All of which means a five-minute shower uses only two litres of water - compared to the 26 litres used by even the most efficient current showers.

The e-Wash Washing Machine
This unique washing machine - called the e-Wash - is designed to use soap nuts (as used in India and Nepal) to get your clothes clean.
The advantage is that the nuts are good for people with allergies, gentle on clothes and they do not pollute the waste water in the way detergents can.
The other big innovation of the e-Wash is that it's almost flat and can therefore fit into small spaces. Despite this, the machine can still handle a full load of clothes.

These from this MSN article which has a couple of other interesting devices on show.
But still no jet packs or grav belts just yet. Although I can happily see items like these fitting easily into high TL Traveller starships.
