Depending on your setting, the relationship between orcs and bodies of water can vary from outright fear to mastery of the medium. Orcs could be excellent mariners and swimmers or, like gorillas who cannot store body fat on their bodies, they could just sink into the water like lead weights.
In your setting, the more adaptable orcs might have split off from their land-based cousins and physically evolved over time to forms more suitable to a maritime race, swimming at the same speed underwater as their land-based cousins are capable of on land, and perhaps possessed of barrel chests and webbing between fingers and toes. They might even have lost their body hair, and become scaly-skinned monsters resembling The Creature From The Black Lagoon.
