Down To Fourteen Days

Harper Voyager will open the window for submission of new books some time today.

Bad news is ... I doubt I'll be able to get this thing up to the minimum of 70,000 words before the deadline, even writing flat out - my story, at least part 1 of it, may come to a natural conclusion at some 50,000 words. I can feel it. The Fourth Rewrite is a fifty thousand word novel; no less, no more.
However, in compensation, I can say that once I've put this book together, I will have a month and a half to get the second book written up - another 50,000 words, by the end of November.
Because, this year, I aim to get through the second story of the series begun by The Fourth Rewrite during this year's NaNoWriMo. Assuming NaNlWriMo is still November.
Now to wish someone I know a happy anniversary, then get back to writing this thing.
Come what may, by October 14, The Fourth Rewrite is going to be complete, and no more rewrites are going to be made of this story. Only sequels and continuations.
