Pushing Myself Through NaNoWriMo
Nov. 5th, 2012 12:58 pmThe first time I heard of NaNoWriMo was a few years back. Every year, I swore I'd push myself to try and join the event. Every year, I had some excuse not to.
But not this year.
I joined NaNoWriMo on November 1, and I've been steadily writing ever since. I'm writing on the major story that I've had boiling in my head for years - the Fourth Rewrite, as I've called it. Well, I completed that Fourth Rewrite in October, and submitted it to Harper Voyager - and now the decks are cleared for this, Book Two of the series as it were, I found myself not only lacking an excuse not to join in this year, but with an actual reason to push myself to join.
My current progress can be followed here. Book Two is called The Gilded Saidara.
