Yeah, he did. :) I'm very proud of him, because in the end, the work he submitted - a first person narrative essay told from the viewpoint of a vampire - was spot on. All I really did was just help him with the spelling, and precious little of that.
His short story had an element of personal horror and tragedy - the degradation of feeding off human blood, the inability to face the sun, having to miss out on the narrator's daughter as she lived her life, on his wife as she grew old while he stayed youthful, the increasing alienation between them - and then his decision to greet the sun rather than go on like that.
Can't remember if the featured on SNE or not, and it is a CoE affair rather that RC, but teacher investigated for 'lurid' vampire websites.
Well done both your nephew and the teacher though. Always good to hear about this kind of thing.
Well, if I'd had an English teacher that looked like her and liked vampires... I'd have probably done the same as I did actually. I kicked ass at English :)
