And now the rest of today's news.

Just got a text from a friend of mine, who says she'll be moving out of her home on Monday, to go somewhere else. I vaguely recall something about this. When she does move out, it's likely I'll not see her again. Sad.

The weather was atrocious - but I managed to get sam something small for his birthday. Hope he hasn't got one like it already. :) It's a pity I can't tell him face to face, because right now I'm back in the flat, waiting for my kettle to boil so I can have a nice, warm cuppa tea.

Outside right now, there's a lovely sunset going on. The sky's all sorts of colours, as the cloud catches the dying sunlight. Glorious.

And when I've posted this, I'm going to start tackling this bit of an article. It's only 10k, but it's important that it be done. the deadline's a fortnight from now.

But then, I have written 10000 words on a much tighter deadline before.
