The charity, Barnardo's, is campaigning against the demonisation of children by launching a shocking video, showing people going out hunting "parasites" which turn out to be kids.

I used to be a child, once. So's everyone I have ever known. And I wouldn't want to raise a child, knowing that people around here might think this way.

You wouldn't much like my general view on children then. I'm not fond of them with the exception of a rare few. While I think kids should be protected, I happen to think that most people spend too much of their time protecting children too much. And there are entirely too many children in the world (same can be said for full-grown adults, too) and there needs to be a stopping point. I'm not above thinking of them as parasites anymore than I'm above thinking their adult counterparts are parasites, too. *shrugs*

I must admit I was more than disappointed with Barnados for this video, it shows just how from the mark they really can be
