Whittards in administration, as predicted sadly; now it's the turn of Officers Club - and Rosebys closed down without so much as a bleeding whisper.
Bloody Hell.
I think that the Government should take it on the chin, and suspend the need for a firm to pay business and other rates for the duration that it remains in financial trouble. Cut out the outgoings until it can get its income straightened out, rather than just stab them all in the heart.
Otherwise they're not going to be getting any business rates - because nobody's going to be around to pay them!
