My Dad's been trying to get some information on his father, whose name is Alex Greene.
Yes. It really is.
So he got me to search through the Irish Friends Reuinted site, a site to dig through one's Irtish ancestry. Trouble is ... there are no records for any members of Dad's family ... at all.
And then it turns out that the church where the hatches, matches and dispatches had been kept ... got burned to the ground. In the Forties, I think.
"Alex Greene" has been off the grid for longer than I have been around.
