There's the priest, at the pulpit, with the congregation sitting down, eagerly listening to his every word. He gestures, says "Please stand." Everyone complies.
"Let us pray," he says, bowing his head down. Everyone follows likewise.
Then there's an uncomfortable and awkward silence. A couple of heads peer up. Then more. They see the priest standing there, eyes scrunched, pinched-looking face going red from the strain.
And suddenly, there's this deep, echoing voice from the priest's mouth, intoning:-
