Is Spock only 129 in the movie? I thought he was around that age during "Descent" in TNG? He's supposed to be in his late 30s around the time of the original series...

Older. The events Spock Prime describes occur 129 years after the events in the movie, albeit in another timeline. So almost 130 years have elapsed between this Spock and his older counterpart.

And yes ... Nimoy is still hotter than Wolverine. :D
