So the Tories have announced plans to axe child benefits for the higher earners.

About time I heard bad news falling on somebody else. We will all have a hard enough time from January 4th onwards as things stand: about time those already rolling in money caught a glancing blow of the axe for a change.

Though they should receive a good, solid axe stroke just in case. Particularly the rich tax dodgers.

But getting fucked by Tories is nothing new for us at the bottom of the food chain.

About time the well-off began to feel a share of the pain. At least, when they start wailing and gnashing their teeth, we can tell them "We told you so."

As expected, Cameron just today realised that the axe would fall on him and his wife - so even he has concerns about his friend Boy George and his proposed cuts.

To be honest even though it'll cost me over a grand and half a year I can't really complain too much, as I believe that the state should be there to provide an appropriate safety net and not waste money on breaks for people like me.

While downsizing the GF's birthday Porsche to a Cayman S will smart a little, rest assured I will continue to roll around in my ill gotten gains like a pig with a gilded trough full of fois gras and caviar.
