I have a charger now to keep the batteries going on my laptop. So I don't have to worry about the damned thing running out of juice before I get a chance to write or edit my stuff.
I also wrote up some poetry yesterday as part of my Wrexham Free Writers lesson. Odd subject - snakes. I had to write a poem about snakes.
And this week, I have to write something - prose, poetry - about my favourite kind of animal. H'mm. I wonder what that would be ...? :)
So here I am, with three or four different things going on in my life right now. Online, as mod of Shadownessence; caretaker of two SuperPoke Pets; blogger; student of Vedic Maths and, currently, Japanese (yes, I know, I've been on that horse since the Nineties but each time I come away with a little more ...), member of the SF Readers' Circle and now involved with this writers' club, which gives me the room I need to stretch my authorly wings.
Without a functioning laptop or other computer, I wouldn't have access to nearly half of the activities I am currently involved in. Which explains why I'm so pleased that my laptop now works fine. For now, at least.
