Today's Mood
Jan. 14th, 2011 02:49 pmToday's mood is described roughly behind the cut.
I'm fucked up.
I feel like a thoroughly, comprehensively fucked-up person.
When I feel fucked up like this, I dig out my copy of Watchmen. When I am so fucked up that the one legged man in an arse kicking contest has a fighting chance against me, I even bring out and read my copy of Watchmen in public.
I guess Rorschach is my favourite character. He certainly is when I read this damned graphic novel, at any rate.
Seeing a Jon Osterman quote in the comments on an XKCD post today reinforces my fucked-upedness. Getting ganged up on in that FB thread seals the deal. I'm staying away from that post. Too much thinking about Rorschach's words at the start of Watchmen for me to contribute.
I had a nasty dream. I dreamed that I'd gone into SuperPoke Pets, and found costumes allowing me to deck out Barnardo like Rorschach ... and Napoleon like Doc Manhattan.
Some days, when you see me smiling, it's not because I happen to feel happy. It's because I feel twisted, and the things I think of come out of a very dark well.
