I Am Very Disappoint

Dropped into town today, to visit a friend. On the way, we caught a parade of Welsh pride in the centre of town celebrating St David's Day and the town's Culture Year.

I saw two people in Mediaeval Welsh peasant gear - tell the truth, they looked more like Jedi - so I greeted them in Welsh. Nothing complex: "Prynhawn da. Mae'r tywydd yn braf heddiw 'ma." Afternoon! Lovely weather!

And by their English reaction, I might as well have opened with nuqneH. nuqDaq ghoS, tlhIngan SuvwI'pu' yoH? batlh may'Daq quv law' bobajbejjaj! Qapla'!
