Time to Close Up Shop
Mar. 12th, 2011 01:08 amI had a busy day writing. In the morning, I focused on getting the Viability Review of Walking Shadow Enterprises completed, polished and wrapped up in a big bow to email to the invigilators. This is the final part of the coursework of my Freelancer Academy course, so I had to make it look good - and I did, synchronising the fonts, colours and backgrounds of every item possible so it had a consistent feel throughout.
In the afternoon, I headed off into town, mostly for the sake of just getting out and about and enjoying a brief bit of fresh air. And when I came back, amid bracingly cold, lowering temperatures and the start of some heavy rain, I just went back to the keyboard, this time to write some of the things I really wanted to do.
Almost done, now. Just one more article to do, and then I can save documents, back them up to flash drive and hit the sack. But I have to get this writing done, or it will get forgotten amid the dreams I will likely have later.
I have watched the unfolding disaster in Japan with, for want of a better word, terror. Some of the incidents continue to terrify me, notably their nuclear reactors. This disaster could still affect us all.
And done. Time to hit the sack at last. Night, all.
