My Upside - Down World ...

Well, what an unusual day it was for me today. Getting up in the morning was hard enough - I'd never even heard of "six o'clock in the morning" before now - and after scratching my arse in bed for a time, I got up and went to do some coffee.
Then, after a quick wash, I dressed in shoes, socks, jeans, a jumper. I brushed my hair, put my coat on, and went into town, where I met a friend and we had a cup of coffee.
I then went into the library and read The Guardian newspaper, focusing on the latest articles concerning the economy of the United Kingdom, which I read with great interest.
Finally, after another cup of coffee, I went to the bank, checked my bank account at the ATM, withdrew twenty pounds and caught a bus home. And once back home, I darned my socks and read Proust until cocoa and bedtime at eleven.
I have never had a day so different from the usual in my life before. It was a nightmare.
